Only Summer

One summer. Four women. Choices that can't be taken back.

From the beaches of Cape Cod to the manicured lawns of Westchester to the steamy streets of Manhattan, summer is supposed to be the easy season. For Sabrina, Heather, Molly, and Megan, it's anything but.

Sabrina was finally on the straight and narrow — happy in her relationship, off her self-destructive path. Then a surprise engagement and an even bigger surprise from an ex-boyfriend arrive at the same time, and everything she's built starts to unravel.

Heather is recovering from months of illness, trying to reclaim her independence from a husband who refuses to believe she's strong enough to do anything on her own. A chance encounter on the Cape with a handsome stranger makes her wonder if she's been underestimating herself all along.

Molly is new to the suburbs of Westchester, trying to fit in with a group of women who measure self-worth by dress size and square footage. Before she knows it, she's in so deep there may not be a way out.

Megan finds herself suddenly alone and unable to turn to the people she trusts most. In her isolation, she reaches out in a new — and potentially dangerous — direction.

As the carefree days of summer slip by, these four women try to put the pieces back together before it's too late.

Only Summer is a propulsive, warmhearted novel about the impulsive choices we make, the people we hurt along the way, and whether friendship is strong enough to survive the wreckage.
